THE KURSI VERSE

This concise book is intended to shed light on the meaning of the greatest verse in the Book of Allah, the verse of Kursi (âyat al-Kursi),

And to point out how it testifies more than any other and in the clearest manner to the Oneness of Allah in His majesty, perfection and greatness, that there is no other Lord but Him and that He alone is entitled to be worshipped. C

his blessed verse therefore occupies a central place and a high rank in Islam as it is the greatest verse of the Qur'an, no other verse is superior to it in merit. The Kursi verse contains a concise and useful lesson of what tawhid is in its three categories and a presentation of the Oneness of Allah that is not found in any other verse of the Qur'an. C
