Kindness to the mother
There is a wealth of hadith about the mother that justifies her position in Muslim society. The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, extolled her virtues on many occasions. Kindness to the mother is one of the obligations of every Muslim. Holy nature also urges us to be kind to her.
Islam advocates kindness to the mother
There are many Qur'anic verses, as well as prophetic narratives that justify kindness to the mother. It is part of good behaviour, as is the importance of good speech in Islam. The Muslim should not hesitate to refer to the Qur'an and Sunnah to find out how he should behave towards his mother.
By being charitable towards her, one is grateful for the sacrifices she made for one's comfort in childhood. Moreover, many hadiths justify the fact that the child does not have the capacity to reciprocate his Ummi.
Who can deny kindness to the mother?
This precept makes everyone agree. Non-Muslims also show kindness to their parents. Children report the difficulties faced by their parents in the hope of providing a supportive environment. Islam imposes a duty of parenthood on parents. Children, on the other hand, must be good to them in return.
In a hadith, the Messenger of Allah stated three times that the mother is the person who has the most rights over us. Then he mentioned the father. So do not neglect your mother's place, especially in the home.
Seek parental satisfaction
Know that the satisfaction of Allah is found in the satisfaction of the parents. The believer is obliged to obey his parents in the proper way. However, the servant of Allah should not obey a person who demands that he do something haram. Kindness to the mother should therefore be one of your priorities.
