Ar-Roqya: Exorcism legislated witchcraft, bad eye and jealousy

No doubt that the human being is exposed to misfortunes and will necessarily go through trials in this present life, among them the various diseases that can affect it. But this is a test from Allah and a test from Him—Exalty He is, that the true believer (in His faith) who is patient and seeking retribution to Him, may stand out from the hypocrite to the weak faith, which is impatient and not satisfied with what happens to Him. During this test, whoever restricts himself to treatment in accordance with what Allah – Praise to Him, the Most High – has authorized, will also stand out from those who do not attach any importance to it and are treated by illicit means without fear of corrupting their belief. And certainly, during this trial each will stand out from each other. The matter is more serious than it seems. For what is demanded above all to the Muslim when he falls ill is that he knows that it comes from Allah – Praise to Him, the Most High – and that he does not have to be impatient or to manifest his wrath when it happens. What is more to him is to use legal treatment to treat himself, for Allah has given every disease a cure!
