By which book do you start Islam?
In order to know which book to start with in Islam, we have to go back to the people of knowledge, i.e. the Scholars of Islam.
Sheikh Al 'Uthaymine (may Allah have mercy on him) answers this question, and gives us a list according to the field.
In the coyance (al aqida) Sheikh advises us:
Thalatha Al-Ussoul, Al-Qawâ'id Al-arba'a, Kashf Ash-Shoubouhât, Kitâb At-Tawhid
In French, it is called Les trois fondements,Les quatre règles, Le Dévoilement Des Ambiguïtés and leçon de tawhid.
These four books are written by Shaykh al-islâm Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahab.
In the Hadith, Shaykh AL-Ushmin directs us to :
Fath al-Bârî, Souboul as-salam, sharh boulough al-marâ, Nayl al-awtar, sharh Mountaqa al-akhbâr, Umadat al-ahkâm
Al-arba'ïna an-Nawawiyya, Boulough al-marâm, Noukhbat al-fikar, Sahîh of Boukhârî; Sahîh of Mouslim, Sounan of Nassâ-ï, Sounan of Abû Dawoud, Sounan of Ibn Mâdja, Sounan of Tirmidhî
